My DIY Background

I love that background, the caves are great! I'm going to have to check out how to make that, I'd like to do one for my 40 breeder, when I get it that is.
And I agree, the blue substrate looks super nice and I usually go for the natural look. Don't forget pic's when you have fish in there:)

Thanks!
It was simple just needs patience an a few tools.
Look on youtube for DIY 3d aquarium backgrounds and im sure youll find some great answers. The rest comes with your ideas basically.

these backgrounds look great. I am very tempted to have a go at making one. But can you take them off again if you change your mind in the future?

Depends on how you put them on. Generally you have to apply a lot of silicone to the back of these to absolutely make sure they stay in place. You will probably end up breaking the background to pieces and have a ton of silicone to scrape off if you decided to ever take it off. But with a well thought out correctly made background you'l never want to take it off!!
