Mafia 86: The Wolfman Game Thread

If only the crickets could have some thoughts for us to bounce around LOL!!
Seriously... Actually, we had a cricket living in our basement for a while. We never saw him, just heard him. We named him Eric.

Pir has no idea to vote for, but acting on impulsiveness, decides to vote. He thinks about who to vote for... Amazonadam sounds like a good choice, he UD'd in the last game (even though he would have been voted out that nightfall) and he hasn't posted yet. But Pir doubts that UN would let AA be the wolfman, and also doubts that the wolfman would have selected AA. After a paragraph of useless thoughts, Pir decides not to vote.

Cooool game. Lol.

Jp, why were you so keen to defend 2H after his little mistake...?

Game on

Ok so lets see if I got this straight. The wolves start with one but get a second before night one. After that it's a 50/50 turn/kill unless it's a member of the underground them it's 100% kill.

So unlike other games, in this one we would hope to get the underground killed.

Interesting wording 2H, instead of the "to" shouldn't have have said "the wolfman gets"?

And I know the only good thing about the WW picking a CI is that there are no turns but the CIs are pretty important IMO as they can communicate and share thoughts...

That kind of got me thinking.
no tomorow i think
Ohh, haha got it now.
Darn, innocent again...
JPap tries to be funny or something.
no your not....
UN, bored with an empty thread, decides to be funny back.
 just kidding
Then, he realizes "Oh ****, JPap actually is scum!"
I kind of think "wow." wouldn't be an appropriate answer. Just seems a little too non-joking compared to the "darn, innocent again..." The whole thing was just a little off IMO.

Remember, there isn't much to go on, and it's about the best I could come up with, but hear me out.

JPap starts out as the scum. He would probably be a good choice for D1 scum. He gets to pick someone to have as another scum. Looking at the player list, if I were JPap, I would probably choose Lady G or 2H. Both are experienced in mafia, just as JPap is, and would be a good 2nd scum.

If I had to vote now, I would probably vote JPap. But seriously, it's the best I can come up with. I just want the actual gameplay to start.

Well I know the question wasn't to me, but I don't believe I made a mistake.

The reason I used the word to was because in a normal game we would want to protect the CI's at all costs.

You say the only good thing is no turns? That's a pretty important thing!

Because no one in their right mind, innocent or scum, would seriously suggest lynching innocents just so they couldn't be hit. The wording was odd but I still got the gist of at least what I thought he meant at the time.

Why would you take into consideration anything that the mod (a theoretically neutral party) said or says in regards to someone's role? My response was about all I could have said. I didn't think it was UN's place to comment on something like that, jokingly or not, but I didn't see any reason to make a big deal about it. My original post was a joke in part because it was something a player said a long, long time ago and got in trouble for it. LG bumping the older game reminded me of it, although I guess most of the current players wouldn't have understood it anyways...

You can speculate all you want about why UN said what he said. You can also speculate as to whether UN handpicked roles. You can also speculate about who would have been chosen as the first turn. I personally see that as a really bad way to play this game out. It's just a big WIFOM situation.

Just curious, Pir, as to why you would mention AA UDing last game in connection with naming him (out of the blue, I might add) as a "good choice"...are you an advocate for voting potential UDers?

I have to agree...what the Mod said should not be taken in consideration. The Mod should never make suggestions to ones innocent/guilt in the thread. Personally, I saw it as a goof at Pap, and actually makes me lean him a little toward the "innocent" side. Simply because I would hope a mod would never put out there what someone actually is. I'm sure UN was just trying to have fun..but a bad call IMO.

Now Pir, the fact you chose to bring it up and apparently "attempt" to make a case out of it, is pretty interesting to me.

So...you would like to vote someone because they UDed last game...but don't think he is WW?? Why would you want to do that?
