Pin method is for very thick acrylic in my opinion. Anything over 12mm, i'd use pins.
The way the pin method works is simple. The pins allow the cement to get all the way to the other side of the acrylic, then you remove the pins, and the acrylic rests on each other. The cement doesnt fill that gap though, the pins simply just allow the cement to get threw.
This is looking to be a much simpler prospect than I would have thought it would be. I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of this build. Maybe that's what I'll do for my next tank when I'm ready to move on from this glass project I got myself into.

That's generally the case every where. Call around, I'm sure you could find something at a good price. My dealer is actually about 100kms away from me.
