Hi,

Its me again!:help:
I have bought almost all that I need for my main 20 gal high and 10 gal QT tank.

My questions are:

1A. Is this Filter and pumps Good enough for QT tank?
The Bubbler Box Filter.jpgWhisper 10 Air Pump.jpgT Elite 799 5 gal.jpg
The Bubbler Filter. Whisper 10 Air Pump. Elite 799(Up to 5 Gal).

1B. Is there a way to add to this filter (media wise) to make it better and more efficient?

2. Is this Light Fixture too much for a low light planted tank?

If it is give suggestions.

Any advice and tips are greatly appreciated!!

Patty

1 yes there nothing in it now so you going to have to add something. i typically just run mostly floss in mine. you can add what ever you need to carbon bio media sponges what ever that fits inside.
2 what are you trying to grow? most likely be better with a t5no.

Thanks Mgamer!!:thm:

On a lot of DIY that use air pumps, I see that that most of them put a small air stone. Would it make a difference?

I am mostly interested in growing the following Plants:

A-Java Moss - Taxiphyllum barbieri

What is the difference between "T5 HO" and "T5 NO"?

T5NO is normal output the bulbs are listed as Half the wattage of T5HO lower lumens and less Par penetration or something like that I can't find the link

Thanks for your input, Rev_Jim_Jones!! :)

HO = High Output
NO = Normal Output

Using an air stone and the tallest uplift tube as possible will greatly increase the suction and flow from the filter. You can try it without an air stone like it is now, and if you feel you want more flow out of it then add a stone and maybe eextend the uplift tube. Good luck :thm:
