The more I think about the vial the less sense it makes that it didn't get used. While it might(?) make some sense to use it on a vanilla townie as opposed to a PR to increase scum numbers there is a risk in waiting. If Jessica gets taken out wouldn't they lose the chance to use it? I would expect scum to use it the first chance they had. Did they think as G posted that if it failed it killed Jessica?

I never read it as the scumbag getting killer for using it on a PR but I can see how someone may have confused it.

Dawg, even I can't hold back, that does sound quite scummy... At least when I said something along those lines I had some actual thought behind it... Just saying they should do one thing over another with no other info stands out. And then saying it makes sense if you're innocent.... ?

Guys...Stop over thinking it! If the scum don't use a hit it benefits the innocents. I was wondering at first why Rich was giving advice in the thread as to what the scum should do with their hits and serum. I thought it would be great if they used the serum and saved a hit. You really don't understand that? I'm not saying scum would actually do it but hey...it would be nice. You don't agree?

I'm not sure how much more I can explain but at this point in time they have all their mafia members so there is no need to gain another. Need being the key word. If we are able to lynch/ genetically test one of the gingers, then I can see where targeting a townie is more productive. Then they could replace the one they lost. Make sense so far? As far as not using their hit, well I guess that would be a personal decision between the mafia members. Yes, they could do the same with a hit. Also, keep in mind if they turn someone, that person is going to have to rework their game play (provided they weren't already looking at the wrong people). That shift would be fairly obvious to the town and would be something everyone would be on the lookout for if we knew the syrum was used. Follow? So then everyone is suspecting that person and we vote to test them. Well that one mafia member that they gained is now lost so they are back to the number they had before, right? So I guess it would have to fit the situation, kill an innocent or turn an innocent but have them die by testing. Almost the same thing right?

I have no idea if that makes any more sense than before but trust me, it all makes sense in my head! :nilly:

It's a long explanation but it still doesn't make sense to me. Do the math, maybe you'll see why it doesn't make sense.

Wouldn't you also get two by using the syrum on the PR and hitting the other?

You get 2 dead but the other way you have 2 townies gone and you get an additional team member possibly.

What do you mean we won't get anywhere. In fact I think it's an interesting discussion. I wonder if Razz is taking the stance he is so when the scum team uses it, if they use it on a regular townie he can say "look, I would have gone for a PR if I were scum so I can't be scum". I wonder if LG thought the serum might kill her if she used it last night.

I agree with you, I am trying to tease out why Razz is thinking the way he is. Is he scum trying to throw us off in the wrong direction?

I don't have a lot of time and will answer question's tomorrow, but just wanted to make this point.

The Gingers had a switch they didn't use yet. I'm thinking they would have wanted to use that if they thought they were going to possibly loose a player, therefore I'm thinking the players with single votes, or no votes are where I'm going to be focusing my attention.

As opposed to those that voted a innocent off...Oh yeah, your name was there...why would we look at those votes?

All the players on Plant would also come under 2H's focused attention as they had either a single vote or no vote. These two ideas are not mutually exclusive. There is merit in his thought that if Jessica was in danger of being lynched she would have used the vial. Why so quick to try and disregard it?
