Mafia 95 - "Mayor's Mansion" (The Play)

Rich, this looks like your vote on UN is based solely on what MC said as night fell. You are too smart of a player to do that. What else convinced you that UN was scum?

His post where nonsensical, he was throwing guilt at everyone. He switched votes way to many times and the panicking at the end just cemented it for me.

You missed the rest of your post. You want to break the pattern of voting for people that post scummy because those so far have turned up innocent. Your words not mine.

Another subtle scum tactic Dawg. You highlight a couple of phrases in my post so the town sees that and only that to make it look like I am saying what you want them to think. If you really thought that was what I said, and were pro town, you would have questioned me about it not post it up and emphasize that they were my words not yours.

This after I pointed out the twist you put on my words the last time you pulled that post. Like I said Dawg, you are good. With you using these tactics on me I am thinking I might finally be on to something.

For the benefit of the innocents remaining in the game, I will explain as if you did question my thoughts when I typed that.

The pattern that we need to break is the pattern of seeing something we see as scummy and getting tunnel vision. When we get tunnel vision like that, it convinces the others that it has to be right and we have lynched another innocent. That is the pattern that needs to be broken.

I will agree that his vote switching put him in a bad light. I too got a little suspicious about that. Your answer is a lot more plausible than Zaffy's comment that he based it solely on UN being the invest.

@ Labby

In an earlier post, you mentioned RB as seeming pro-town to you. What makes you say that?
I am not sure, it was more of a feeling I guess. Maybe I've been confusing not cranky as being pro town. He very well could be evil and be happy that he is evil, hence he is not cranky and hasn't taken his toys and gone home yet.

I am very suspicious of Zaffy hiding behind the idea that MC gave us cold hard evidence that UN was scum. Zaffy tends to have an open mind about things, it's very unlike him to become so narrow-minded.

I wasn't ignoring it Dawg, I was trying to figure something else out. Zaf, DD, and Rich were the only vets on UN and since I can never seem to get a read on Zaf or Rich, they would fit the criteria.

However, I didn't say that the vets on UN were who we need to look into. I wanted to hear from the players that voted for UN based on MC's frustrated OMGUS comment.
This post below bothers me.

Thanks for your response...I thought you were just skipping over it. So what's your read on DD?

I highlighted phrases you wrote and commented on how I read it. Thanks for the clarification because that is not what I got from your original post. I read it again and still don't see it.

However when I did read it again you mention Bally, NPR and AAF. Are you not concerned about their late "easy way out" votes on UN?

Sorry everyone, but I am not going to be able to be around much after tonight. I have had a unexpected family emergency come up and will be leaving for Illinois in the Morning, I wont be back in till Monday. I do not have internet on my phone and my lap top is in the shop getting the hinged fixed (hopefully they will call today and say it is done) if so, I know I will at least be able to get on a little bit while gone but if not, my internet access may be EXTREMELY limited. I will have to put my vote in tonight for tomorrow because I know even if I can get on a computer I most likely will not, as family comes first (sorry I know, how can I say that :D)..my problem is I'm not sure if I will be able to get to a computer before Sunday.

I have been thinking on this, my reasoning yesterday was that those saying Un was not scum where scum, since they where trying to save him, that obviously, just got thrown on the scrap heap. I need to completely reverse my train of thought and when your old and slow like me that takes a lot of work. I would think that someone just sliding a vote on UN and staying on the sidelines in any debates would be a good possibility to be a member of the mafia. I need to go reread and review a few things. Unfortunately with being out most of the week, they expect me to actually get something done today. I will do some poking though.
