Why would it be a bad idea to base your thoughts on what the confirmed detective had said? I thought, because of MC's words, and the context surrounding them that he was revealing an invest result.

I thought the claims that he had not revealed scum were either wrong or intentionally misleading.

It wouldn't have been bad to base your thoughts on something he had said. If he had said "I investigated UN and he is scum", I could have gotten behind that. You were using your interpretation as the foundation for not only your thoughts, but your vote as well. For you to keep that up despite other equally plausible theories being presented seems wrong.

Dude, it's a scumtell called "gloating". When people pop onto the thread after nightfall, falling all over themselves with grief, and making sure that everyone else can see how upset they are, it makes one wonder why they're so worried about showing their enourmous amount of grief so publicly. Are appearances that important to you for some reason?

IIRC, there were at least signs of life previously. D3, she didn't even post except to make sure and vote right at the end. I believe that the only reason she even opened up the thread again is because of team comittment.

Rich, I asked this yesterday, and still haven't seen your response. How did Wiz drop off of your list of suspects?

His post where nonsensical, he was throwing guilt at everyone. He switched votes way to many times and the panicking at the end just cemented it for me.

I vote to lynch UN. MC named him last and I have no doubt he is scum.

I am not sure, it was more of a feeling I guess. Maybe I've been confusing not cranky as being pro town. He very well could be evil and be happy that he is evil, hence he is not cranky and hasn't taken his toys and gone home yet.

Sorry everyone, but I am not going to be able to be around much after tonight. I have had a unexpected family emergency come up and will be leaving for Illinois in the Morning, I wont be back in till Monday. I do not have internet on my phone and my lap top is in the shop getting the hinged fixed (hopefully they will call today and say it is done) if so, I know I will at least be able to get on a little bit while gone but if not, my internet access may be EXTREMELY limited. I will have to put my vote in tonight for tomorrow because I know even if I can get on a computer I most likely will not, as family comes first (sorry I know, how can I say that )..my problem is I'm not sure if I will be able to get to a computer before Sunday.

He was not off the list when I made that post, I was listing the ones most likely to create a tie. if you are talking about the post I think you are. If not I do not know the context of the original post and can not answer you with the information you have provided. As I stated a few posts ago, I have to reset my thinking and have not started a even remotely logically new list.

Look at the order below, Rich. You're apparently sold on MC's investigation before bringing up anything else.

I see Ratty as scum for the quick hop in to get another name out there as soon as possible after nightfall and I see UN as scum, no other reason to name him.

My thoughts are the same. MC said Un and I will go with that. Idistrust all the folks trying to dipute that and especially LR giving us a different interpration of events before the rope had even stopped swaying.

It is certainly possible anything is possible, but I think he investigated UN. I see no other reason a responsible player would post what he did at the end.

Yes but not the last predeath post. Just can't see it. i agree his logic was quite flawed during the day. That case he was making was interesting at best, but if he had DD why not say that last instead of UN? I hope he did not post his best guess, that would not have been helpful at all.

I understand that MC voted DD first. Barring that the only case has been offlt weak.

Un bounced his vote around and was over the top defesive lkast evening, that screams scum to me.

OK Rich, let's say you are the one who is correct on MC's invest. Who else is on your scum list? Are you looking anywhere else? That is what people are trying to suggest. Don't agree with one theory and then put the blinders on. There have been 3 invest possibilities put out there so far. The Town seems split 3 ways on which one they think to be plausable. We can't afford to be wrong too many more times.

I never said it was not. I believed that MC would only do that last post if he knew it for fact. I would have only done it that way. That was the basis for most of my thinking yesterday. I do not deny it, if that makes me scum so be it. That is what I thought and what I acted on. I am sorry now that the premise for my actions was wrong but that does not change the facts that I was basing it on the above mentioned belief, if a similar situation comes up again I would probably do the same thing again. I tend to think in black and white.
