Blue's BC 14

This site SUCKS now.. I am about to quit visiting unless they fix it or at the very least explain the issues. 30 minutes to make 1 post!! This has been going on for a week now and not one post in the "Bugs" forum on here explaining the issues. Then when someone asks about the issues in this forum, they delete the post, like no one else is noticing the issue.

As of this morning my shrimp and goby are now a pair :) It's so neat to see them working together. I actually get to SE my pistol shrimp instead of just hear him!

Very cool indeed. By far one of the coolest relationships we get to see up close as hobbyists!

Sometimes you just have to accept the fact that there are things that are beyond people's control. I do know what is going on and I can assure you that the team is doing everything they can to fix the problem. Post likes this aren't going to help and blue's tank thread isn't the right place for this line of converstaion. I realize the delays are frustrating but you could have PM'd me instead.

I'm FINALLY back!

I've been not able to get on the site for a month. I still can't get on the site in Chrome but for now firefox is working.

So updates.

wow a lot has happened.

I replaced my lights with 2 panorama pro modules. man it looks awesome!
Here's them mounted in the hood

My corals are doing great! I added a frag of bicolored frogspawn. ANd I picked up some ris. I also added a second fish, a purple firefish :) He's skittish but out in the open all the time.

(makes note on Prospective Inhabitants List)

Greech, googling tells me there are Sri Lankan and Indonesian variants of this lovely creature with the inelegant name of Skunk Cleaner. You have any preference or know of any advantages between the two?

Love the Panoramas! I think those are the perfect LEDs for all-in-one tanks.

Looks like that xenia is growing!

XanAvaloni - Honestly I don't know but looking at the two areas geographically, I wouldn't think there are any distinct behavioral differences. I know most of the stock my LFS carries comes out of Indonesia.

Every since the server move I have been getting a "Bad request 400" error. If I clear my cache the site works for a few clicks then I get the error again. It's been extremely frustrating! I've had the same error in firefox and IE.

Anyway the tank is really cool and I love watching the corals grow. As you can see in the last full tank shot, I have quite a xenia forest going! I love the way this stuff moves and someday I'll add a clown to play in it :)

Now I am getting redirected here and there to some site saying I've won something. I wish I could have the old AC back :( I miss this place so much!

Anyway, update time. I noticed yesterday that my zoas are getting their color back. YAY! Another month or so and the tank should look amazing. It's clear now that my original LED set up was just too much light. Everything was dull and faded under those lights. With the new panoramas things are looking brighter every day. My pest problem is even getting better. I've been pulling out algae and syphoning out flatworms. The tank seems to be maturing nicely. Though something is irritating my fire and ice zoas. I dipped them and moved them to the front so I can keep an eye on them.

Yesterday I picked up some of the most amazing GSP I have ever seen. I glued it to the back wall, hopefully it fills in nicely.

I've been itching for some new livestock but I'm not sure what to get. No new fish so that's out. I'm thinking some sort of invert. I've had no luck with shrimp, plus I don't want a shrimp that will steal food from my sun coral. I'm thinking some sort of crab. Either a new hermit or a white porcelain crab. Not sure yet.
