Oh, thanks! I have been wondering that for weeks but didnt want to make an entire thread about it or get off topic in someone elses thread.

I always found the phrase "In My Honest Opinion" a little weird. Humble is probably the correct word there really.

You could just leave the H out of it altogether. I normally just use 'IMO,' myself.

no, seriously... i normally use the "H" for humble, personally. sometimes for honest. i look at it this way...

there are a lot of folks on many boards that can outclass me in plant knowledge every day of the week... thus i normally use humble.

but sometimes there's that person whom you think is really going to make things hard for themselves, kill fish, melt plants, create algae farms, etc. and you can tell by what they post. if they ask... i give my honest (imHo) opinion humbly. like starting that talk with a valued friend right before an intervention. starts off in a humble, unsure of where this is going type of submissive voice to get the ball rolling, etc..
