How would you...

what we need to do is stop trying to control the world's resources (oil, for example!). if everyone shared equally, and those nations that have excess were to ensure the nations with deficits had ample access to what they need, then there would be no fighting, no poverty, and no more war, IMO.

but that will never happen with capitalists ruling the majority of this planet :(

Been reading marx's manifesto again eh?

Achieve world peace?

Aliens dropping giant rocks on our heads from space.

That is about it. Their methods may seem a little extreme, but do you hear anything about warmongering dinosaurs? Exactly!

Look at Nagasaki and Hiroshima and rethink #2.

The two atomic bombs ended WWII and arguably saved more lives than were lost. Fast forwards to today, and we have a pretty good relationship with Japan.

So what happens when all the oil in the world runs out? "Sharing" isn't the answer. Finding a means to a cheaper alternative fuel is, and it'll be capitalism in the form of R&D that will lead the way.

i've never read Marx's manifesto. my dad is a member of the Marxist Leninist Party of Canada though, so i grew up listening to socialist views, going to party rallies/meetings, etc.

oil was just an example of nations not sharing. what do you mean 'in the form of R&D'? i've never heard that term before.
