Brooke's Corn Casserole

1 box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 16oz cans corn, drained

Mix together, pour into 9x13 baking dish, bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

For a little different taste use Mexican style corn.

And if you want it a bit thicker, use 2 boxes of Jiffy.
 
Cheese Melts with Poached Egg

You need:2 english muffins or bagels, 2 slices of ham halved, 150g grated cheese, 1 beaten egg, salt and pepper, 2 whole eggs

Cut 2 English muffins or bagels in half and toast on both sides.
While they are toasting mix the cheese beaten egg and seasoning together in a bowl.
Place a peice of ham on each muffin or bagel and top with cheese mix.
Grill for 3 mins until cheese is melted and golden.
While cheese is grilling, crack an egg and put in a jug pour into a half pan of boiling water do the same with the other egg and cook for 3 mins.
Serve the egg on top of 2 cheese melts.

Voila its done sit and enjoy.

Pre-heat oven to 250F.
Melt 5 tblsp butter in a small saucepan.
Mix in 6 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp chili powder.
Pour over 10 cups of cereal in a large lidded Tupperware (or whatever) bowl. Shake, rattle and roll for half a minute or so. (put the lid on first)
Pour into baking pan, bake for 10 minutes. Pour back into T-ware bowl. Sprinkle on a little more seasoned salt if you like. Shake, rattle and roll again. Back into baking pan, bake another 10 minutes. Pour into T-bowl, let cool. Eat.


We have found that the cereal always gets eaten before the nuts and pretzels and stuff, so we serve those seperatly.
 
Peel one banana, add to one bowl. Shake vigoursly. Add 4 scoops of ice cream, shake vigorously. Remove pieces of banana and ice cream from floor, add to bowl, and you have a slightly furred banana split.
 
I dug this thread up searching for Zigman's 'Summertime Beer' recipe, which I hope to try in the next few weeks, and realized that DP's 'Furry Banana Split' was the last recipe posted in the thread.....from well over a year ago.

Eating season is officially upon us.... Let's get those recipes out there.
