Actually, I thought pappy was being facetious....I wasn't around for that game. I do, however, find this post concerning.
While the last line in the post may have been just an illustration of what JP was saying, it also could have been a signal to his teammates. JP is slick enough to pull it off. When I first read it I didn't think much of it. I did have a little nagging feeling in the back of my mind about it though. It seems more so this morning than yesterday.
I would think with AAF being in his 3rd or 4th game, he would drop the noob roll... I dunno, I find it odd that anyone can call anyone a noob after their first game. I guess I find it odd with the chain of responses that AAF posted too and his questioning of off topicness..... was it the patch and the stress, could be.... I would hate to think that someone would lie for mafia with those circumstances.Yep
I've come to think of Mad as a deliberate and calculated player. This can work well for the benefit of the town if he's a townie, but can be devastating if he's mafia. That post just seems off to me. He's essentially calling out a newb for not defending himself well. Given AAF's past with being lynched early I can see him not wanting to put out RL excuses, then thinking back to other games and coming back to be honest in an attempt to try not to get lynched. Then taking into account the fact that Mad said he didn't necessarily disbelieve AAF but he still went ahead and voted for him. Something seems off. Add that to the earlier post where Mad said that the game was unpredictable then went ahead in the next breath to predict how the mafia would act... IDK; it's concerning.
Infact, I retract my vote on Wiz and vote to lynch Madcrawdad.
I think you might want to take that post in context...it was the morning after my 21st birthday. I thought I was being funny LOL.
yikes, no wonder you got sick.... I used one of those once and wasn't right for days....bernomorphine or something like that. i have no idea how to spell it
I don't think being a newb has anything to do with how many games one has played. To me it has to do with a person's grasp of the game. In my mind, AAF is still 100% newb.Actually, I thought pappy was being facetious....

yep, being facetious.... Wiz, I would think you would have been aware of that.... as much as the post could be troubling, it looks like you are picking on paps and twisting his post to be somewhat of a slip or clue.... I dunno, I can't think that Pap would be that obvious... but then again, I have been fooled by pap before... this would be quite the "in your face"

Added to which, after 3 or 4 games, he's still asking for someone to decipher time zones for him...I don't think being a newb has anything to do with how many games one has played. To me it has to do with a person's grasp of the game. In my mind, AAF is still 100% newb.
yea i dont think he is either anymore.sounds like someone experienced an opiate overdose and didn't quite like it. methinks maybe grandpa isn't the most trustworthy source for meds... especially anything that comes in a patch or intravenous form.
Well, ready to stuff myself silly tomorrow. Probably not going to attempt to post much until Friday but even then I have my second Thanksgiving.
Going along with the whole non-communicating thing...wonder if we'll see any code words like the "in the dark" game LOL
The duck flies at midnight, I repeat, the duck flies at midnight...you know what to do people, this is NOT a drill!
Yep
