Mafia 97: Patrick Mafia, Crazy for Swayze the game

I wasn't around for that game. I do, however, find this post concerning.

While the last line in the post may have been just an illustration of what JP was saying, it also could have been a signal to his teammates. JP is slick enough to pull it off. When I first read it I didn't think much of it. I did have a little nagging feeling in the back of my mind about it though. It seems more so this morning than yesterday.

Ok. lets say it was a signal wiz, what info could he be signaling this early in the game?

Not sure what to think of AAF. I could see him breaking out the more intense (for lack of a better term, hope things get better) RL excuses as he saw getting questioned again but the timing is weird. I do agree with JB that he could be considered a noob. Yes, he understands the framework of the games now BUT let's be real here, AAF is almost always suspect for something he says even when innocent.

Other than that there isn't much to go on right now. Not sure I like what Wiz did with my post that was supposed to be a joke.

Wiz: what has been said up to this point that you think would warrant me to hypothetically try to communicate with a teammate? Do you realistically think there will be any code being used?

I did not think of codes until your post. In answer to the rest of your post and 2h. The timing of your post came prior to Mad's vote, but after AAF's absence had been noticed and commented on by myself and LR. Also note that he started to expand his story, as Mad noted, before anyone questioned him. The timing could be coincidental Or something more. Not being privy to the 24 hr communication I couldn't say.

When I first read your post I didn't think anything of it, but, as I stated something was nagging at me. I guess the main thing is that we have players (and I count you as one of them) that can be blatant in the thread and not be caught at it. In order to win the better players need to be caught and the lesser players will trip themselves up.

I was probably just chasing a ghost but, I posted a thought that occurred to me.

I don't think being a newb has anything to do with how many games one has played. To me it has to do with a person's grasp of the game. In my mind, AAF is still 100% newb.

Quick question JB, let's look at FF's play and compare it to AAF. I didn't see any difference between the two of them in their play last game. Yet, FF started playing the same game I did back in Mafia 63. How long do you think we should give a player a pass before expecting them to step up their game?

How long before we figure they should be smart enough to not post if they can't do so without digging their own grave?

I just quickly got caught up and what sticks out to me is JB's defense of AAF. His quick post throwing suspicion onto Mad also caught my attention. He throws in quick little jabs like that often when he's scum.

I retract my vote on DD and I vote to lynch JB.

I'll be around for a few more minutes, the prob not back til after nightfall.

AAF, if what you're saying about that prescription medication patch is true, please let your grandpa know he should never share his medications. If that patch is what I think it likely was, it could have killed you. Once that medication is absorbed into your skin you can't take it back out. Fentanyl should not be given to an opiate naive person, it is very dangerous.

dont worry my mom told him, and i stated what it was. in an earlier post.

Nightfall isn't for a few hours if I am remembering correctly but I feel better getting a vote in now.

I vote to lynch Wiz

I think his comments about my post are a bit odd, just that he threw it out there that I could be actually using code in that post. Not something super scummy but it could be just a way to get a name out there and see if anyone bites.

There is no such thing as bernomorphine. If it was a painkiller in a patch it was likely fentanyl, or possibly lidocaine. The fentanyl would make you puke. The side effects are very serious.
