i don't need an excuse if he flips innocent. i'm convinced he's scum. that's all there is to it. if i can't get a read on someone else, then of course i'd have to vote him. i'm not going to put all my ducks in a shallow basket, though.

No one's saying you have to vote FF and then give up. But you seem 99.9% sure he is scum but flat out said you probably wont vote for him until after this nightfall. I still don't understand why give him a "pass" this nightfall. Would you rather vote for someone you are less sure on? Keep in mind that even if that person is more of a threat to the town when scum they are conversely a more of an asset when innocent...

and what the heck is "pocket mafia"?

Basically when the town knows someone is scum but keeps them around in attempts to find their teammates. It's a horrible strategy. Only difference in this case is that not everyone (I'd venture to say most) are not convinced FF is scum. And generally it happens when an invest is revealed so it's a more definite read.

is anyone reading what i'm writing and checking back on his posts? seems rather easy to just jump on the last thing posted rather than investigate and rationalize. i prefer the latter... even when is seems difficult or erratic. look back on the last couple games if you wish... i was the first one moaning about everyone jumping on FF for bad gameplay... and he was lynched and found innocent. there was a lot of talk questioning why one would give a free pass to him still. in this case, i think the free pass time is up... not due to time, but rather his game play that's inconsistent with his normal play when innocent. i still think folks should look for something less obvious and choose another maybe harder target that's less obvious to get difficult players that can bite the town in the rear in the end, yet have something so obvious to fall back on in case we can't get definite reads. this lessens the pressure and allows the town to focus more on finding something that may be more detrimental... and have an "ace in the hole" so to say if we need it. it's a good strategy for any team game, if your team can follow... or just pick up on it.

Dun, I understand your words...what I don't understand is your actions and actions in this game speak way louder then words do. I don't need to read a few past games, I know how FF plays, yes "most" games he get's a bit stir crazy, then there are games he hasn't and he played a complete opposite and it wasn't from being coached, then there have been games when he was coached and played well and games where he was coached and still played a bit crazy. As for a "free pass" I don't really think FF actually get's those, I have no idea if he is evil or innocent what I do know is he said before the game started he wouldn't be around this weekend and he wasn't...that's it. When it comes to FF I've found it best to watch him for a bit before deciding what I think. Your saying you think he is evil, and others should see it too...but no one should vote him correct?

I vote to lynch UN, for the reason that he needs at least one vote day one (j/k) and because I work all day tomorrow and all day sunday (hours = money, sunday = 50¢ more per hour = HELL YEA!) so I may not get on before nightfall. With luck sat and sun will be dead as a doornail and I'll be able to sleep through the day and come on the play later.

i'm saying... he should be voted if everyone else sees him as the first suspect. in these games, i believe a gut feeling sometimes weighs heavily on ones choices. i don't expect everyone to see things the same. i do expect that with more townies than scum, we should be able to communicate within the thread and seeing who's complicating things should be a little less daunting. tough nonetheless as we don't have the liberty of most of our team communicating on the outside.

it's okay not to get me, LG. i'm not that easy to get, apparently... not even in text form. (yes, i thought it would be easier... actually seems that way sometimes.)

LG said he mentioned he wouldn't be around before the game started. it was every post concerning the game since the beginning of the sign up thread. i'm not sure of his reasoning for him saying he wasn't going to be around... especially since he didn't mention it until the game actually was in play. that's not to say he wasn't actually working, but he seems to always find a way anyway IME. yes, it's slim pickins, but only a beginning of my suspicion towards hi this game.

good to know, LG... i have a knack and hoped i wasn't utilizing it unknowingly.

Wiz, UN voted to lynch Dun and then two minutes later you voted to tie up the vote with 2H. Do you find that interesting?

What I found interesting is that we had a three way tie that recurred with the same three candidates. As it was happening it seemed to me that someone wanted those three tied for some reason. Could I have been reading too much into it? Probably, I had stated my ead was fuzzy and I wasn't thinking too clearly.

Nice of you to pull this out of the middle of a conversation (out of context to be exact). When the answer to your question is in the conversation you pulled it out of. See post 114. I know that you read it or you wouldn't have found this post.

UN voted Dun as I was typing my vote. I had no way of knowing that he was doing so.

Bally, I read all of the posts you pulled that you said everyone was confused who made the hit and I just don't read it that way. You highlighted the word assume, but, in context of the spoken word the way they were talking I would take assume to me that they were comfortable saying the scum team hit their non communicating elf.

The town disperses, downtrodden that they had lynched an innocent elf. One elf heads home to warm herself with some spiced cider and gingerbread cookies. Unbeknownst to her, evil lurks in the shadows. Suddenly, Dangerdoll feels a sharp, cold pain in her back and chest. She looks down to see an icicle sticking out of her. The frozen weapon pierces her left ventricle and she falls to the ground. The icicle melts, leaving her body in a freezing pool of blood.

At least we got an evil elf. I imagine the scum are a little annoyed at themselves right know, either that or Frosty made one heck of a good shot.

Seemed a bit early to be saying that FF has been acting so different that he is scum, especially considering that the course of the game thus far has been a bit slow.

The write up mentions evil lurking, so I assume it was the scum hit which means DD was probably the NC evil elf.

I agree, just did not want some one to say I forgot about all the possibilities.

Isn't being "busy'' a good way to fly under the radar? If this had been brought up later in the game it might have been a valid point, but since it was in D1 is it not valid. Seems a bit of a double standard IMO. In reality FF is the only one who knows if he is truly busy are not, the rest of us can just speculate that he either is or is not.
This stuck out to me because you jump on Dun for IMPLYING FF isn't busy, do you in fact know that he is, thus making a possibly false implication worthy of a vote?

This post stuck out to me because Rich seemed to know right off the bat who the hit was, while seemingly the rest of the town was in confusion about if it was a frosty or Grinch hit.





The timing and content of these posts stuck out to me, they are possibly coincidental notable none the less.

Your post this morning. Tell me, who was confused? I didn't pull it but Ice called it a scum hit right of the bat as well.

Why single Rich out for knowing who made the hit but not the rest?

It is late and my head hurts (I really need to stop trying to decipher FF's posts.) I have read your theory three times, and I am still confused.

Night fall is tomorrow and I have no clue where to vote. Hopefully I will find something tomorrow before work as I don't think I will be here in time otherwise.
