No one's saying you have to vote FF and then give up. But you seem 99.9% sure he is scum but flat out said you probably wont vote for him until after this nightfall. I still don't understand why give him a "pass" this nightfall. Would you rather vote for someone you are less sure on? Keep in mind that even if that person is more of a threat to the town when scum they are conversely a more of an asset when innocent...

Basically when the town knows someone is scum but keeps them around in attempts to find their teammates. It's a horrible strategy. Only difference in this case is that not everyone (I'd venture to say most) are not convinced FF is scum. And generally it happens when an invest is revealed so it's a more definite read.
