How in the world do you get rid of duck weed in a planted tank? what a mess that suff is!! I tried over and over to net it off and it gets stirred into the water. I swear that stuff mutipies better than rabbits!!

Cockroaches and duckweed, that's all that is going to be left when the end comes.
In fact, I think the surest proof of Hell, and by extension God, is the existance of duckweed. Once they send a probe to Europa to few the liquid water on that moon of Jupiter, the first image will be of duckweed.

Mystery/apple snails seem to love the stuff. Between them and diligent scooping/vacuuming it helped me empty out a few tanks of duckweed. I noticed yesterday that my 14 gallon with only one apple snail is getting full of duckweed again though, I think I need more snails.
wow thanks for the ideas ya all! I will be working on that this weekend! Most of the tanks the weeds are in have assasin snails out the wazoo so I cant put any other snails in so ima gonna make me a powerhead duck weed remover. you all are the best thanks again!!
Patience is helpful. You do have to chase down almost every bit to get rid of it. Unless...
