Congrats on the mandarin eating shrimp. I hear they are very difficult to get to eat other than pods.

I just fed them again, saw the same thing. Both the scooter blenny and mandarin were eating brine shrimp but not mysis. Still better than nothing.On another question, do fungia corals move? Mine is right up against the front glass, I don't think I put it there, but it's possible.

I just did a 15 gallon water change, last night I bought a small ricordea, it's colors are a pale blue, with a pink mouth.
I was hoping it would look better like my other ones but not quite lol.
I also bought a small turbo, it's amazing the work he did in one night, cleaned roughly a foot of the front glass that I can't get with the mag float because it's too close to the sand. I need to get a few more.
Also picked up a piece of Eco saver rock, a flatter piece so I can put a few corals on there.
Find the new rock lol.

I guess that I should also point out that when my scooter blenny and mandarin are eating, I am soaking the food in selcon. I think it helps, I'm sure it can't hurt. I'm also thinking of getting rid of my coral banded shrimp. He's pretty aggressive, I don't know if he could catch anyone but he worries me at night.

He can definitely catch a small fish. Not a fan of the CBS myself. He should be easy to catch in a fish trap.
Yeah, he's cool but not worth the risk.
In other news I just bought a 29 gallon nano/bio whatever cube. It has no hood or lights, so I'll be building my own. I'm going to pick up some new sand tonight. Thinking of going with the sugar sized sand for something different. The bed won't be deep. Thoughts?

If you go that route, you'll need it to be a fairly low flow tank. That size tank with sugar sand is a sandstorm waiting to happen. Be good for a zoanthid/softy tank.

Right now I plan on using a 20" t5 ho fixture I had for one of my planted tanks. If I can find a deal on a used hood I may get it and build an led fixture to go in it.
I'm thinking zoas and maybe some nice macro algae. I plan on moving my ywg and pistol in there, court jester goby, and not sure what else in there. Any good recommendations for a good macro algae?
