I essentially soak in 1 part bleach: 10 parts water. Rinse really well and soak in dechlorinated water until the chlorine smell is gone.
Prime at 5x dosage, which is the highest safe dose level for water in the aquarium. Not sure if it would even matter how much you dose the Prime, but that part keeps my mind at rest.
Yes that is a Molly and the colors are real. He was one of the fry of a regular black male + Orange cremsicle lyretail female...... My first matured fry actually. Never expected to get a striped sailfin with a blue tail! Most of the others were Orange dalmation. He quickly became my favorite and was used as my primary breeder until he recently passed away
hope his genes are passed on! Have a couple younguns that look pretty interesting from him!
Prob a 55 g when I move..... Might end up flipping for a 100 though...not sure on that part yet
Living next to Old Man River has its benefits, now I just have to make more time to go down there.
