have you tried tractor supply? i dont know if you have one in cali ir not but thats where i got mine

That is going to be EXPENSIVE to ship. But regular 'aquarium' sand in the same # of pounds would be the same shipping cost too I guess and BD is way cheaper.
northerntool.com will ship it. I checked and 4 bags to 90020 is $118 for shipping (plus the $8.99/bag for the sand). That is for UPS. I would call them and see since you're wanting 4-5 bags, could they ship it on a semi to some distribution point cheaper.
I've Google'd and it seems a LOT of people in CA are wanting this. I use it and it's great so I can see why
That might be a business opportunity to buy an 18 wheeler full of it directly from the manuf. and resell it

Northern Tool & Equipment is where it is sold around here. (Oops, I see that was already said!) I'm glad to know Tractor Supply also has it though, since that's actually closer to me...but that's beside the point.

I already checked northern tool. Can't pay that much for shipping. The closest tractor supply here is too much of a drive. I was hoping someone was selling it near my area. Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it

No one carries it in anywhere in CA unless it's small independent store. So shipping is likely the only option.
OP - did you call the company to see if there are any smaller stores they have sold to in CA?

Im in the same boat! 90028 and would love to know what you find out... or possibly going in on some kind of group buy. My roommate and I would definitely be interested.
Road Trip! It was too far for me too but I had a family vacation in Reno. I bought 12 bags on my way back.
