DIY CO2 Help...Please :)

When you refer to a paintball co2 setup, you mean use a paint ball co2 canister and regulator that I could find on amazon. add a bubble counter and diffuser and it will work with air line? and slowly put co2 into my tank?

how often are you suppose to dose with the root tabs from bob's tropicals?

I think that last up to 6 months. You bury them in the substate near the plant, they eventually dissolve.

Ludwiga repens and arucata, I've seen that they grow really red (both from pictures and people's tanks). Also noted that rotala rotundifolia grows really pink/red but I'm not getting that either. I was wondering why.

I keep both of these under similar conditions - mine haven't gotten too red either (especially the rotala). Doesn't bother me too much though :l

IME L. repens and R. rotundifolia/indica don't need much to get reddish...but most times I was dosing ferts in some way.

I'm planning on ordering some ferts from Bob's Tropical Plants. Hopefully they are that great as everyone is saying.

The only red I've noticed so far is under L. Repens leaves. On a few occasions the leaves have colored up light pink, but then turn green.

Hi ! I use in my 40 G co2 DIY 3 bps non-stop, with minimum surface agitation. I use a co2 indicator, and I'm trying to keep it close to 30ppm value. Ludwigia repens turns red when there is a higher value of iron in the water( 0,3 - 0,4ppm )
