Cool Single Fish for 29

Bucktooth tetra??-- Exodon Paradoxus or the less leaf fish-- Polycentus Schomburgkii

Bucktooth tetra??-- Exodon Paradoxus
again, these are very active schooling fish and placing one alone in a 29 gallon tank would be like tossing you in a closet and calling it good.

she ment a group ( most likely ) and a small group of bucktooth would be fine, but no more then 6 and no less...

I see you're in Michigan...go out and catch a grass pickerel locally :evil_lol:
My bigger one is only 5" right now, and with the way it moves at feeding time the 40 breeder it's currently in scares me. I keep getting visions of my Pickerel with face like a Pug! Pickerel need a lot of room for a fish their size, even though 99% of the time they're practically motionless.

6 in a 29? You obviously know nothing about Exodons. They get about 5"-6" long and are aggressive schoolers.

They need to be kept in large schools and tanks as they are aggressive tail nippers as well as have been known to bite the scales off of fish. Here is a good write up. http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/fish/bucktoothedtetra.php
