What was your first car? What would you choose as a first car for a teen?

Got this in 03 , 2004 mazda 6s. I do maintain it pretty well. Just finished a bunch of major restoration projects on it including a new Katzkin Interior :) Love it , friggin zoom zoom :)

Danger I agree with you about the grand am. I had a 2000 grand am GT and I would have set it on fire given the chance... Hated that car
and I had the Turbo SE.... it was stolen the 1st month I had it, the Turbo seized on it after a few months after the recovery of it and gave me problems ever since. I never thought about setting it on fire but what a thought!

I've owned two Pontiacs in the past. An '88 Grand Prix and a '91 Grand Prix. Awful cars! Hated mine, too. LOL
Thumbs down on pontiacs for me too!! Never again! and then after that, maybe another Never!
This was what my first car looked like .1969 Pontiac Le Mans. Payed $1000.00 bucks for it when it had 30 k miles on it. If I only had it now it would be worth way more :) It was my mom's car .
Man, Mark. That car is HOT!

My first car was an '88 VW Jetta GL. Nice car up until I got t-boned in it.

Dang, two nice cars! I love mazdas, but I doubt my parents would pay to insure me in one.

Volkswagens are nice and not too spendy. My neighbor has one that is ~10 years old (idk) and it is nice inside. It is having some issue starting, but the winter wasnt nice to it.

Just got to thinking, if my friends were ever comparing hp and torque I would own all of them if I had the envoy. 300hp plus a towing package for the torque. My dad had to give up his f150 and still wanted something capable of towing without a sweat, so we upgraded the engine and gears. It is right there with the 2012 3.7L f150. Six years old and it still competes with a brand new truck (granted that is the base line truck).

My dream truck

Add another chunk of $ and bring it to the shop in texas to be upgraded to a velociraptor 475. Re tunes engine, suspension, and exhast. Also adds a loud button that "instantly makes anyone in the area hate you".

I was looking last night and there were only 2 rangers that were 4x4 under $5k here and they were 2002's with high miles.
