I'm very excited and a little scare to be honest. This will be a completely new experience for me. After some reading about "what to expect" at basic I'm most worried about having to yell, I'm generally a very quiet person >.<
The physical fitness stuff shouldn't be too bad, as I am fairly athletic. I did decide to do a bit of a delayed entry to get myself in better shape and do some studying. I'm going to graduate basic with as many honors as possible, go big or go home!

Good luck and congrats, I started to go that way but I'm not a morning person and I'd rather spend days in the hole then get up for a hike at 4 am.

When do you go to basic? That San Antonio heat at Lackland AFB can be a beast and I went in the middle of July. After basic, I went up to Chanute AFB (Rantoul, IL) for tech-school. That base has been closed for some time now, though.
