Mafia 103...the play

Or chose the incorrect list on purpose when trying to back JB up?

It would have been an unwise move to purposefully use the incorrect list when all someone had to do is go back and check.

funny how you know what he is thinking. care to explain that?

i don't. i just find it funny that you switched to AAF as SOON as i tied it up.

i said something about distancing?

must be back from the dead then.

Sorry, I read "distracting" as "distancing".

Wow... quiet morning. And here I was all worried that I would have a ton of reading to catch up on.

So I've done a lot of thinking since last night, and I'm sure I'm right on Rich. His posts are so fluffy that if you rolled them all together you could have a nice pillow. The only problem with that is it would smell like :bs:. This vote is not likely to change barring some pretty low-probablility events. There's no doubt in my mind on Rich.

That being said, I believe UN jumped on me about forgetting Rich from my list because they are teammates. If he really spent that much time comparing my list to the player list, he would have noticed that AAF was noted twice and looked for the appropriate list. As it is, he did not. He missed JM (as did I) because he didn't spend nearly as much time as he would like the town to believe. It's easy to see how hard he was trying to get me lynched through that whole exchange before nightfall. And he came out guns-a-blazing when he thought he caught me up. To be clear, I'm not 100% sure on UN, but it is a good educated guess based on his actions.

Which brings me to my final... I'll use the word suspect, but I believe I have Pappy dead to rights. I was looking back through Pappy's game and he's scum. I'll try to explain. I've played with Pappy as scum and as innocent. When he is innocent, he has no qualms about getting into it and mixing it up with anyone in the game. He'll point out every little thing and ask questions, and follow-up questions, and follow-up follow-up questions until he is satisfied with the answers. I can tell you from personal experience that he is never satisfied with any answer. This game is not like that. This game sees a Pappy who asks soft-ball questions and lets answers go all to easily. I called him out for playing a low-key game earlier and his response was some nonsense about not having time. :bs:. Not that I disbelieve he is short on time, but that's not really an answer to the point I made. My point was about content, not quantity. Pappy is scum, and we can't abide this scum to live. He is far too dangerous for the town.

I vote to lynch Pappy.
This vote will not change until he is lynched. Then we can get to Rich and their little toady, UN.

I've been going through it in my mind, and I can't figure out if there are 3 or 4 scum. But this gives us a real nice start, and if the game has not ended with UN's death, I'm sure the other will be clear by then.

Pappy... admit to the town that you're scum and deliver your teammates and it may better your chances in the ACville afterlife. ;) I doubt it though.

I'm not scum, so no admission from me here...as for your description of my gameplay, you're correct in that I often get to the point of crossing the line with my questioning. But for that to happen there certainly has to be something for me to be that suspicious about. Up to this point I had only been really thinking AAF was scum, and you are forgetting that I was one of the people that got the train rolling on AAF. So it's not like I have been sitting back the entire game.

If my answer to you calling me out (which seemed a lot more like a simple observation to me) for playing low key didn't satisfy you, why not bring it up until now? You never mentioned anything about the content of my posts at the time either.

I didn't make a bigger deal out of it earlier because you are one of the slipperiest players in the game. I couldn't decide whether I thought you were scum or not, so I let it go. I wanted to see how you would play things out. You're scum. It's as simple as that. And I don't think anyone who has ever played the game with you will really believe that there has been nothing for you to question or find suspicious. You're too good a player to get away with that lame excuse. I do really love the irony of using the fact that you spearheaded an innocent's lynch as a way to prove your innocence. How exactly does that work again? I'm not seeing the logic there...

It's up to the town to decide if it believes me or not, but in my mind, you're caught.

And I never said you were sitting back... I said you were posting BS softball questions.

Townies, Pappy needs to go.

It's not like it is a big secret that I started the lynch on AAF. My point is that you're whole argument is that I haven't been picking at anything, but I most certainly went after AAF.

Essentially the same thing in my mind.

You're way too sure of me to even make me remotely comfortable about thinking you're innocent.

I don't see how those are the same things at all. Sitting back is posting fluff and crap like Rich. You've been out there, but not in a Pappy-esque way. At least, not an innocent Pappy. Yes, congratulations, you led the charge or "got the train rolling" to lynch an innocent. Hazzad for you. It does not change the fact that you've been posting ambiguously enough to not really get on the radar.

To try and sum up what I'm seeing: An innocent Pappy jumps on every little thing and doesn't let go until the person being questioned yells uncle. You, when innocent; are very good at seeing every little thing. This game is much different. You are ambiguous, scattered and waaaay too easy to let things go. Even the questions you asked of me were mostly about semantics and totally excused without any follow up or further examination... not like an innocent Pap at all. It's subtle, but it's there. You're a master, Pap; but you're found out. Answer me one question, who was it you guys tried to hit N1? :)

It doesn't matter to me what you think of my alignment. I'm sure of yours... and Rich's. What really matters at this point is what the town thinks. Hopefully they're not fooled.

Not sure what it is, but you're starting to smell like scum JB. First you have Rich off your list all together, then you launch into a tirade about him, then you vote for Pappy. There is a cocky tone to your posts, which tends to happen when you are scum and things are going your way.

Don't forget I left JM off that list too.

I also get cocky when I'm right and scum is on the ropes, which is happening now.

Thank you for the compliments (?) but you're really making my game out to be more than it ever was...and twisting it to be in your favor. The only thing you've caught is the case of the "you're wrong"-s.

This is suspicious to me. Why would the mafia step out of line when they've already popped 3 innocents? It just doesn't line up. It seems like JB must've really picked up on something here and you got scared. The reason I say this is because you normally have some serious logic behind you and this seems way too illogical to automatically assume JB is mafia when there's no reason the mafia would act like that when they're off to such a great start and can keep playing innocents against each other. This is very out of your character from what I've seen and suddenly I'm not so interested in Rich anymore
