My first terrarium

Anoles are more of a display animal and are not big on being held for the most part. Are you looking for a species to interact with? There are many other good alternatives out there than anoles.

Not big on being held perhaps, but very good at holding on!

Knights are not happy, ever. You could always go Leopard Geckos. They're cool, attractive and if you get a pair get a little breeding project going. They shouldn't be too expensive by now.

I used to catch anoles back in the day when I lived in TX. Ahhh memories. Everyone would be like, "why's that idiot calling the chamelions, anoles?" - N

Oh that they are! I remember being a kid and having them bite me just to show them off to friends.

Look into a pair of knight anoles, the dragons of the iguanid family!

I use to have a breeding pair of Knights YEARS ago. They were always ill-tempered but they were wild caught. Their offspring were much more chill. If they OP were to find some CBB Knights, they could have a pretty neat pet.
