List Ur favorite fish stores

Uncle Ned's in Millis, Mass. Very nice and rare fish.

Fish Freaks and Nebraska Aquatic Supply in Omaha, Nebraska. Their stock is always awesome and customer service couldn't be better.:)

Too many favorites! I have like 30+ lfs within an hour from me. Lfs ONLY, no petcos and petsmarts or walmarts included in total. Actually their isn't a walmart for 150 miles from my location. My region got ticked off at them and nobody will tolerate the mere sight of a walmart logo, label, sign, ad, product, let alone a store!

In terms of pricing, Ocean Aquarium is absolutely unbeatable. No exceptions whatsoever. Try beating a dime/dozen feeders (litterally!!!), 50cent anubias, 9$ clownfish, and 2$/gal RIMLESS starphire glass setups. Do not underestimate the rimless tank prices. Those of you that have rimless tanks know they can go for 10$+/gal. They are the perfectionistic masterpiece showtanks of the Aquarium world.

For fluval fx5 Aquarium Concepts is unbeatable. They have fx5 available on a daily basis for 250$. On sale I have seen it as low as 190$ +tax. Sales are extremely rare. Maybe 2x a year for a few days at the most.

For cichlids, Connies tropical fish is a true legend. Their livestock is impeccable. They sell BIG ebjd here all the time. Not those lil babies you see everywhere. They are known for HUGE! I mean HUGE, bulging at the seams double++ sized cichlids. 11" jd, 18" jaguar cichlid, 20" dovii, 9" texas, 14" oscars, 2 foot rtc, 2 foot tiger shovelnose, foot long oxydoras niger, giraffe cats, long time ago they had this 100lb+ sturgeon I just thought was really cool! Only had it in for a few days several years ago and it was gone never saw it again.

Elmers Aquarium in Monroeville PA and Wet Pet's and Friends in McMurray PA are two of the remaining LFS in the Pittsburgh region, most of the others fell victim to the big box pet stores

That's a shame : ( When I lived in Western PA, I used to love to make a day trip to the city to visit all the shops in there. There used to be some really good ones.

Albany Aquarium, Albany California. It looks like a small place, not too spectacular, but they have awesome stock, very knowledgable staff, and good service. If you want plants, they have a huge selection of common and rare plants and full pressurized co2 in the plant holding area so the plants are nice and healthy. The fish they sell are fully quarantined in the basement of the building until they know for sure they are healthy, then they move them up and sell them. You know your getting healthy stock this way. The fish there range from the well known cardinal tetra, rummynose tetra, guppy, etc, to the rare fish you can't find anywhere else around the bay area. It's the best store in the bay area California IMO.
