Albany Aquarium, Albany California. It looks like a small place, not too spectacular, but they have awesome stock, very knowledgable staff, and good service. If you want plants, they have a huge selection of common and rare plants and full pressurized co2 in the plant holding area so the plants are nice and healthy. The fish they sell are fully quarantined in the basement of the building until they know for sure they are healthy, then they move them up and sell them. You know your getting healthy stock this way. The fish there range from the well known cardinal tetra, rummynose tetra, guppy, etc, to the rare fish you can't find anywhere else around the bay area. It's the best store in the bay area California IMO.
Yeah except it is above & beyond overpriced. 6$ guppies, 5$/stem for hygrophilia & 4$ for a hair follicle piece of java moss.
