Its kind of the reason there are more innocents then scum.
It shouldn't be that bad this game. We have a 3 out of 8 chance at hitting scum. The odds are much better then usual.

The one skating is all part of the game. It is just thw way it is.
FF, I would like a clarification on the kills and who and how many as well. Well, I know what roll has them, but the rest is kind of shaky.

Only the betta can use multiple hits in one night. The convict can only use a single hit. Max hits in a night: 3. Max hits overall: 5.
Yeah I don't want it to come off like I'm dogging anyone. What else is there to get the ball rolling besides BS'ing around a bit on D1? Was just tossing stuff out there. It was an offhand comment but I kinda like my idea about having a hard to decipher clue tossed in the mix at the start. Even if it is never figured out it gives a starting point for some substantial discussion.
Yeah I think that's better odds than I'm used to at the start so I'm hoping this can be my first game with a scum lynch D1.

A clue wouldn't be a bad idea, it could be a complex riddle that takes all of the players discussing to figure out.

Well, didn't take me long to catch up. Used to have to go thru pages of posts after a day. I agree day ones are usually slow, but not necessarily useless as even early discussions can be useful for later analysis. I don't like to think that it's just an odds game or a crap shoot.
And although the odds are greater for the Beta to hit Scum, even on day one, the Beta only gets two total the whole game so not sure if it's smart to use it day one.

I was first on the list because I was the first to sign up. Didn't know that had anything to do with being scum.

With only 8 players the Betta's shots are much more of a "high risk, high reward" ability. On one hand, the chances are better but if we have the absolute worst night (excluding UDs) we could be left tomorrow with a 3 v 3 spread. Adding in another hit could either make or break the game right off the bat.
Speaking of which, FF, I don't see win conditions for either team...how does one with this game format?
