I was thinking of getting a Black Kuhli loach soon, but was wondering if my tank could support it, or that he won't damage any other of my fish/inverts.

I currently have mollies, neon tetras, and a bunch of ghost shrimp. If I get the loach it won't eat my shrimp.

I do not think a Kuhli loach "CAN' eat an adult shrimp. Baby shrimp will be eatten.

Yeah should be fine with that I keep kuhli's in with my cherry shrimp, some babies probably get eaten but the population still goes up.

That's good to know! That makes me feel better since I'll definitely look into getting one now.

If you get just one you probably wont see him much, the more you have the more active they will be.

Yes, And they are social. They need "friends". They also are not much on a BIO load.

+1 on all said so far...

most would recommend a minimum of 3 for you to actually get to see them during the day...
They do have a really low bioload, and won't harm your ghost shrimp either way since they cannot reproduce in freshwater so no babies will be eaten!

I ended up getting 2 Black Kuhli Loaches and they play together constantly. They haven't really bothered my fish, or my shrimp, they mostly act like they don't exist.

I was wondering if I wanted to add in a Golden Dojo Loach if they'd include him in their little group, or if I'd need to get a friend or two for the Golden Dojo?

Did I miss a tank size/filtration mention? Or specific numbers of all of the fish in the tank aside from the Kuhlis?
