What size tank, what filtration, how many waterchanges per week, how large are they, what are the tank perms (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ph)? If a fish has died then there is a problem with your tank.

25-50% they are not that big. Sally under 1 inch, Sadie 1 1/2 inch, Waffes 4inch Dory 4 1/2
72 gallon, ammonia none,nitrate 0, nitrite 20, and ph 6.5
Flounder was very sick, after he died I check the tank and its fine.

Because bedside manner is for wussies! :)

But sorry about your loss. The setup is fine. (It's normally safe to assume goldfish tanks are poorly set up and maintained) what symptoms was flounder showing and when did they start?

when he was first sick he and a large bump on the side in April 13,2013 My goldfish flounder is not doing to well his right side is big and he not moving as much,so I put him in the hospital tank to heal him, after 2 weeks of healing him I put him back in the big tank and he was fine for 2 months. in June 21,2013 that morning he was fine swimming happily. Then in the evening he was swimming very slow so I got the container ready, I went back and he was gone. I called my mom to help me find him, we found him in the pot I have that he like to swim in. I lift it up and he swim out slow, I took him out and put him in the container to rest to die. Anyway the next day on June 22,2013 that morning he die. So he was very sick. So I am not sure what he had.

Oh ok, I was worried it was the classic small tank big fish problem. I have no idea what that bump is/was but I'm glad the rest of the fish are doing okay. Seems like they found a good keeper :) Sad that Flounder didn't make it though. Can I ask for a picture of the tank?

So sorry for your loss. I think your tank looks great and if all fish "owners" cared about their fish as much as you obviously do, there would be many more happy fish in the world. RIP Flounder.
