It may never happen at this rate...trying to get the rock scape together, stupid rocks never work with me! lol I hate this part of setting up a rift tank more than anything else. Here are the rocks though...

I think I need more varying sizes and less medium ones...and a long low tank would help too! :D

That's what I am TRYING to do but with the small footprint and overflow box hogging that corner....:nilly:

They are not in the right order but you get it. Needs tweaking, feedback please?

Ashley! Good to see you!

Reef tank? Certainly not! Ok, I wish it was but I don't have that kind of money or time or dedication....yet. :D I will get some updates on this tank a little later.

Hope to see some updates on your threads ashley! All your tanks were inspirational to me.

I don't have any freshwater tanks now :( Just 1 reef tank. I have a few reptiles now instead. Though I miss my mbuna quite a bit.

That's sad, reptiles are cool too though. I miss my mbuna too! It's funny how quickly you forget how frustrating the murderous things can be and just remember those big bodied beautiful colors! I think if I ever did mbuna again I would really want at least a 5ft tank, preferable 6ft.

Now that your 40B Tang tank is behind you how would you say it worked out with your stocking options vs. only 3ft length? Any tips, seeing as my tank has the same footprint?

How is the salty? Your SW tank was the final push for me to decide I wanted a SW tank, you made it seem so easy to have a beautiful successful tank!

I took the plunge into SW a few years ago. I love my reef tank, and my only regret is that it sucked my focus away from my rifties. I'm surprised how many of us have reefs and rifties.

Myswtsins, I'm stuck with my aquascaping too. It seems like no matter what we do, no one is completely happy with their own aquascaping. I like yours so far though. If you can get your hands on some slate, it would look even better.

Thanks aj! I am trying to stay with more appropriate rocks for the lake, these are Delaware river rocks and a couple small moss rocks only because I needed some small rocks. :)

I am thinking about removing the julis and the left rock pile. Just too much for such a small tank.

Why not put the larger pile on the left so it hides the overflow and the smaller on the right?
