green neons or embers

Guys my tank is big enough for two schools of both of these fish but i would rather have a big school of just one fish. both of these tetras look awesome, stay small and are new to me. i have never had any of these guys.

so which do you guys think i should get cause im finding it impossible to choose.

That's a really hard choice. I think I'd go with the green neons. How are you going to decide? Go with the one that gets the most votes??

i have asked people in other forums and its a tie between embers, green neons and ember with neons. its really is a difficult choice damn it LOL
 
Just go with both. Youll prob be happier with that choice.:-)
 
after some hard thinking i have decided to get embers. for two reasons:
1. they are smaller by half an inch
2. they are a species of tetra i have never had. though i also havent had green neon tetra before i have had regular neons.

but in the later future i will buy a massive tank where i will have both schooling fish

I think you will be happy with the embers. As I said earlier, it's a tough choice. How large a school are you planning? Any other tank mates?
 
i want 20 embers but my store has a "buy 5 get 1 free" deal on all fish so if i ask for 20 i get 24. im not sure if that will be over crowed (space wise not bioload)

the fish are:
2 blue rams (bottom dwellers)
12 hatchet fish (surface dwellers)
20-24 ember tetra (mid dwellers)
15 cherry shrimp
10 ghost shrimp
5 assassin snails

my tank is a 30 UK gallon tank 60cmx41cmx58cm. and yes it is planted heavily
