It's a bit awkward to install because it has built-in 3/4" barbs, probably because it's intended as a pond clarifier. Usually, a pump or filter with 3/4" is going to be attached to a system too big and pushing water too fast for a 15W sterilizer. There is kind of a kludged version to address this problem but I think it's better to get a unit that can accept threaded fittings so you can plumb it almost any way you like.
Also, the Aqua Ultraviolet ballasts are potted so they overheat and have shortened lifespans. The 57W ones burned out pretty quickly while the 25W lasted quite a bit longer. The white housing still turned brown from the heat though. My Advantage's 15W ballast never burned out but also didn't get as much use due to the aforementioned plumbing difficulties.
