I want to agree with you, it seems to me that now forums have become much more tolerant than before. And I like this much more, I have not seen this before

got my plants. My lights come today and my tank should be here this weekend.
But only 1 tank this time. Ok maybe 2 but no more that that.

Fish keeping is becoming a lost art.
I have a neighbor that has a beautiful 46 gallon bowfront, cabinet, with matching top. Awesome freshwater setup in my opinion. Right now it's half full, has 2 Glo-Tetras, a Pleco, and snails....all the sides are green with algae, and you can hardly see the fish.
I asked him if he liked his aquarium, and he said..."It too much work!" Then I responded..."Give it to me!"
I haven't heard back yet.....

I do see a lot more activity on the social media based fish keeping forums. I'm talking 2-3x the usual traffic. I'm assuming it's due to COVID and people being home. Many outfits are shipping live goods in the dead of winter now (with success), where they wound't regularly offer that a year or two ago.
