Is this a Jack Dempsey?

Thanks for the replies everyone! Unfortunately, one of the two passed away days after I took the pics. The other fish is doing well, and seems to have grown some since those pics were taken on November 8th. Today is exactly a month later, so here's some more. Sorry for the quality of the pics, he won't stand still. :) Also, don't think I don't clean the tank often because of the poop, I just did on Thursday. They go a lot lol.

Definitely a low grade Flowerhorn , low grades still make great pets and still be pretty

It was sold to me as one from Petco, but it looks a little different to me. I asked the guy and he said "he thinks" it's a Jack Dempsey, but I'd like to make sure. If you need better pics, I'll send them. I bought two, at $3.99 each. They are about 2" or a little less.

+1. The more I look at it, especially through the rostrum and mouth, I'm pretty sure it's a flowerhorn as well.

Cool, it’s a really nice fish no matter what it is. I’m feeding it this. The employee at Petco recommended it. Then again, the same store said it was a Jack Dempsey. :)

I would increase the protein for a Flowerhorn, I gave mine hikari blood red with occasional fresh shrimp and krill., if it’s a female, there’s not much that help with the Kok, but it will still have nice red and pearling with the proper diet. Here’s a low grade male I had that I was able to get some good color out of with that diet
