Just biding my time until I can say that I told you so.

Only actual sword species I would consider would be Rm aflame which may be out of your budget.

Really consider chain swords in future, they stay smaller than 15cm. I had a regular amazon sword and it grew too big for a 90 US gallon tank... So was more than 60cm in each direction.

It does look good though, for now, you really should fill it up though.

the gourami. he was just sitting at bottom of the tank as shown below then he started moving around and from all the sitting on sand, he shaked it off all from his fins to get rid of it. He then followed my fingers and swam off. Then he came back to my fingers and shook all his fins, like cichlids tend to do.

update on new fish. the black spotted platy female is still in hiding and very shook up, the mollys and the koi sword have calmed down with nipping on the gourami and are still stressed and breathing hard. the variatus platy male has recovered from all the stress, he calmly nibbles on plants.
the gourami, he became very sweet to me. he greeted me today morning when i woke up and he literally was hogging tank glass when begging for food :D
