I already have a Coral Beauty (Dwarf) Angel. A friend of mine just caught a baby French Angelfish (~1 inch long) while he was in Florida, and he is bringing it back with him. Would these 2 angels be compatible? Anyone ever have experience keeping a dwarf and larger angel together?

Also, as a side note, I already know I'll have to move him to a bigger tank once he gets over 5'' or so, and I plan on doing that, or selling him to someone with one.

People say they wont but I would try it. Everyone told me I would never be able to put 2 Sailfin Tangs in the same tank which only is a 55 gallon (I am upgrading). After I tried it they are best friends.

Your 45 gallon is too small for the French. I take it that the coral beauty is established? If he is they will fight. French angels get huge.

The coral beauty is established and actually seems to take a liking to the territory under my rock pile. I know the 45 gallon is too small for the French, and once he hit 4-5 inches i'd have to move him to a bigger one. Since they won't get along though, i'll prob just let my friend keep him.
