as far as the rest of those "facts", people just make them up cuz they think it's funny or because they can make them sound like facts. there was one floating around a few years back that when bats exit a cave they always turn right. this just isn't so .. i've stood in front of many a cave and seen them turn left and in fact sometimes they just scatter.

there are no statistical facts to back this up. when a person dies, who the heck knows whether he/she was right or left handed. what do they do, ask the next of kin so they can compile statistics?

you really think anyone knows how many chickens there are on earth ... or for that matter, how many people?

i didn't mean to sound defensive ... i'm just dismayed that people actually think these things are factual. i mean, anybody can make this stuff up. examples i just made up.

* there are more long haired dogs in the world than short haired dogs.

* for all dogs living in asia, the average distance from the tip of its nose to the tip of its tail is 37.5 inches

* taken as a whole, the coconut palm tree averages 6 coconuts for every 9 feet of height.
