What brand do you feed. Would omega one shrimp pellets work or how about the wardley shrimp pellets? I was thinking these might be kind of hard for them

I like the Aquarian brand shrimp pellets. They don't seem to foul the water at all or throw out "dust" like some of the other pellets I've used.

The cories also get frozen bloodworms and Hikari algae wafers, and of course whatever flake food falls to the bottom.

I had some HBH shrimp pellets that were given to me a long time ago (several years old), and my cories could not eat them. They never softened up and would still be there the next day so I threw them out (they probably had no nutritional value anyways since the were so old). Were these just to old or would a new container of these pellets break up so they could eat them? Anyways right now I feed them Wardley algae disks, flake food, frozem brine shrimp, and frozen bloodworms.

Hi,

Chunkoblue, I think it was because they were too old that they didn't break up. I feed my Cories HBH Shrimp Pellets and they devour them (along with my Firemouth that are pigs).

I wouldn't go for Wardley (even if they tend to be a little cheaper) because they have alot of fillers. A good brand name is Hikari, they have 'quality' food. HBH is pretty good too, but not as good.

I feed my Cories HBH Shrimp Pellets, which they love, HBH Veggie Wafers, New Life Spectrum Wafers (one of the best brands I heard), Hikari Sinking Wafers, and frozen bloodworms. They also get Hikari Freeze Dried Tubifex Worms and flakes that fall to the bottom.

I have fed the aquarian sinking pellets, but my corys prefer the OSI sinking pellets and the Hikari algae wafers.
