Hey there just joined today, wanting and needing to find out as much information to help me along my marine aquarium adventure until either my glass breaks or the aquariums glass breaks, just kidding. Anyway I have a 4'X18"X18" with custom cabinet and canopy.

I have a sump, currently with a Red Sea Protein Skimmer that came with the aquarium when I bought it. Also have a Jebo 180 proteim skimmer if the Red Sea shouldnt do to well, not sure of its condition.

I have yet to put the water in it, as I am still putting it all together, but I think I am almost at the stage to put the water in it, all that I am lacking is the heaters and substrate, currently I am trying to figure out a way to turn undercar blue LED lights into a moonlighting system. I will be posting pics of the aquarium from time to time to show progress, I am very finaticle (sp) about my tidyness and organization of the project, I want everything to be perfect all the time

theres a few things in the DIY section like that, just get a 12v power supply from an electrical place (like **** smith, tandy, wat ever you have over there) and connect it up..

Good luck :)

Hi welcome to the grapevine. ha:) ha :) ha. Well its good to have a perfectionistic approach to this hobby especially. you are in actual fact supplying an environment to liveforms. I trust that you would do well if pattience is another of your strong points.:)

I might have to take lessons in patience, LOL...anyway I am getting this all set up so will have pics and avator on soon.

hey there Bulla....Just want to say Welcome to the forums...What exactly have you got so far for your system? Throw that red sea box thing away, and use the Jebo..once bitten, twice shy and all that....

Are you going to post us a picture of your equipment so far? just so we can follow through with you your setup and how its progressing...

Niko
