How do I know if he still has the disease?

Well, we have a lot to learn before we can help.
Because it has HITH I can only assume that water quality is low and diet is not varied.

What is the tank/fish size and what is your water change percentage/frequency?

hmmmm, maybe you should try more water changes or vary the diet a little but i can't really think of why they arn't eating

hope all goes well with the oscars

Also, what meds have you been using and for how long? Are you running any carbon in your filters?

I had my Oscar 8 years. One day he just stopped eating. Back in the 80s I did not have great resources like these forums and the LPS was zero help. I tryed other foods and nothing. I thought if he doesnt his favorite brine shrimp it's all over. Shortly after it was. Maybe mine just was old? I asume yours are yunger The chances of it being old age killing both of your fish are slim. I am on this thread because I am really wondering what it is with your fish as well.
Try Brine Shrimp.
