Id loaches

I thought these were pakastani loaches but now im not sure. Notice the red on the tail

That was the only one I thought looked close to what is shown in your images. Trust me, I am no fish IDing expert by far. Good luck in your quest though.

I agree, definately the fish.. The first pic doesn't look like the loach, but the second full body pic does. You can see the similarities in the fin color(little red smudge on top of tail fin) and shape as well as the sort of webbing between the bands of the stripes; it almost looks like the bands of the yoyo, except not as pronounced. Really I mean to say that the bands don't look as straight and conformed as the chinese loach's did.

I have a book that shows a pakastani loach, it looks the same and then when i looked them up on the net i said no way its a pak. the fish shop said its a red tail botai. but it is not.
