Valentini puffer!

yea man u gota slow down and maybe u could clear up the concerns that atnixon stated because i to share the same concerns. ive seen it so many times working in an aquarium store that people rush it and then kill some wonderful animals in the process.
once i sold a freshwater set up to a couple and they coulndt wait so they got 1 fish from us and then went to petco and got 14 other fish and put them all in a 10 gallon tank the same night i spent 2 hours explaining how to set up the tank, and told them not to add so many fish. just take it slow ull learn to appreciate it some more.

:OT: Ok my parameters are fine and like i said to you before i have a 35 year old friend helping me out he is a marine bioligist and he has 3 tanks his self and owns a store called water works. no offence but i think he knows what he is talking about. Iam not rushing apparantly im going very slow and thats good.
I am posting questions so early because im talking to him the only thing i post quetions about are at night when he is asleep. Thanks and get back on topic my quetions thanks.:pc:

I totally agree w/ atnixon. The only reason that I keep reading threads by this guy is because I am waiting for the post that says "everything nuked... I don't understand why this happened...I think I'm going to give up on this saltwater business"

I set up my first salt water tank a year and a half ago, took everything extrememly slowly, made plans for the future, set up a new tank that had all of the requirements for the animals that I planned to keep, then slowly added a couple small fish and small frags a little at a time, starting with easy to care for specimens. Even at this point, I have less stuff in my tank than this guy and my tank is twice as big w/sump, MH's, etc.

Not trying to be rude, but I am just waiting for the bomb to drop on this one.....

HEY

I POST ON HERE AT TIMES, BUT I PREFER NOT TO. YOU GUYS DO COME OFF AS SNOBS MOST OF THE TIME.

LET THE GUY DO WHATEVER HE WANTS WITH HIS TANKS OR FISH. LIKE YOU GUYS ARE GODS OF FISH OR SOMETHING. I EXPERIMENT LIKE HIM. IS IT YOUR MONEY HE IS SPENDING ???? NO , AND TO QUESTION HIM ABOUT WHAT HE IS GETTING OR HAS, GROW UP, YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS GUY.

NOW, TRY NOT TO GET TO SNOBBY, YOU GUYS , JUST DONT ANSWER, IF YOU DONT WANT TO. YOU MUST FACE THE FACT THAT YOU DONT KNOW HOW A FISH WILL ACT, HOPEFULLY NOT AS SNOBBY AS SOME OF YOU GUYS.

I AM JUST WRITING, DONT RESPOND, CAUSE I COULD CARE LESS WHAT SNOBS HAVE TO SAY !!!!!!!!!

DUD, MESS AROUND WITH YOUR FISH, WHEN THE SNOBS GIVE YOU MONEY, THEN LISTEN TO THEM !!!!

HA HA

With all due respect, the forums are here so people can come and ask questions, absorb advice...However, when there is a blantant dis-regard to the people that are offering the advice and knowledge with regards to the fish that people like "US SNOBS" try our best to support, there has to be a line drawn.

I respect and observe your opinion, but, please do not come onto the boards shouting your mouth off like a child..

We are not "Gods of fish", or gods of anything, we just have their best interests at heart..

You will never find ANYBODY on this forum, or any forum that states " I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT FISH"..That is not humanly possible..Think about it logically when you make a statement..

There are are reasons why we question people about the purchases that they make, and basicly them reasons are to protect something that has to depend on a "person", to be properly looked after and cared for, in the correct enviroment..You would not go out and buy a dog and keep it locked up in a cage in which it can bearly move and be catered for? so, why do that to a fish?? Its the same principle, buying something that you nothing about and not having the capacity or knowledge to look after it...

Niko signing off.....

Preach on brotha!! :thm:

Listen...everyone chill and take a breather. This is supposed to be about fish, not your egos.

Thanks for all of your support! :D

it aint really about ego's mate...Some of us put a hell of a lot of effort into helping others on the forum so that they dont make mistakes and fish die un-neccisarily...

When all the effort that is put in is just pushed to one side, it kinda makes you think and wonder why do we bother? If you can understand where i am coming from on that mate....

every one is just trying to help the kid out and at the same time save the lives of animals. we, all though, have to remember that he can do what he wants with his money and his tank. if he wishes to do it the hard way regardless of what others have said sometimes people just have to learn that way. things i have done in my tanks shouldnt be done but they have worked out better than the methods that have spoke against them. as stated we dont know him personally, but also he does seem to rush and has been rude. everyone needs to just drop it really and move on dont try to help if they dont want it and if he does ask then just give advice if u dot mind it being ignored...at least u tried. the advice given here is pretty general and is almost all the time true so it shouldnt be ignored, epically if you asked for it. but this arguing is getting to the point of beating a dead horse so lets put an end to it.
also on another note, try not to use CAPS as it looks as if ur shouting and if u are is not a nice thing to do.
