i have never bought discus from them, but I did buy some driftwood. The manager guy there responded to a bunch of my emails regarding questions promptly. I think they would be quite reliable. pricey but good.
I'm curious..your profile says Wa. as in washington state?? Where? why not hit some of the local discus breeders here in the state..there are som efantastic fish and deals thru these local guys.
Star - I'm pretty new to Western Washington and have been wondering about discus breeders around my area. Can you send me a PM with a list and any comments you might have about those on your list?
Where exactly in western WA do you live? There's an LFS in Everett that sells Discus from a local breeder. I don't know exactly where they come from but they said the supplier breeds them locally.

washington spokane, only one local shop with discus, and she will by a strain and wait till they all sell before buying another one, so it will take forever to get my 12-14 discus.
I live in Western WA. (Bremerton)
I also plan to make an order with "Something Phishy"
Could I get a copy of that "Local Breeder" list?
The lack of bad press for "Something Phishy" makes me feel a bit safer.

I'm sure star-rider will get you that list. In the meantime, I strongly suggest you take a look at feedback for Something Phishy over on simplydiscus.com.
