dont put angels in there. they will most likely fight from lack of space. wait until you get the 30 gallon for angels.
You aren't exactly taking into account the fact that some petshops sell quarter and dime-sized angelfish. If he can get them that small and that young... and his mother has the space in her tank to take them once he gets his 30-gallon and moves away... why not have a parting gift for his mom in his tank for a few months?
