10 gallon max?..help

Sounds great!!! I'm gonna go buy a 10 gallon tank and put two Arowanas in there! They should have plenty of room!!! Awesome!

by that rule you can keep eleven pacus in a 55 gallon. i dont think so.
dont put angels in there. they will most likely fight from lack of space. wait until you get the 30 gallon for angels.
your tank would be perfect for some neons, shrimp, and a dwarf gourami though.
You aren't exactly taking into account the fact that some petshops sell quarter and dime-sized angelfish. If he can get them that small and that young... and his mother has the space in her tank to take them once he gets his 30-gallon and moves away... why not have a parting gift for his mom in his tank for a few months?
However, I would advise that if you went through with it that you not get anything else for that tank or your 30-g, except for maybe some pygmy or panda cories, until you get the larger tank. They might be small when you buy them, but they will need all the growing room you've got!!
Until you go home and leave them with your mom, it'd be best to not stock those other fish. And if you wanted them for your mom, she would have to have a tank of at LEAST 45 gallons, preferably more. If you're wanting a pretty pair of fish to give her when you leave that won't take up as much room, perhaps sunset or honey dwarf gouramis instead? They are quite lovely and sweet with one another and would need a LOT less space!!

I did find the quarter sized ones so I think I will put them in the tank with the snails (2) blue mystery snails! there pretty sweet.....and I plan for a month till I move them in the 55 gal......I appreciate the quick responses! sorry for my lack of response I was at school and they have all of my sites blocked:mad2: ....But If my plan doesnt work, then feel free to ridicule me!! lol
That's a great gift. But if I were you I'd actually ask for a 29g- tank or kit. Reason being that a 29's dimension's are such that it is taller than the conventional 30 and thus better suited for a nice pair of angels.
yep I know I told them and thy got it already I just dont get it till graduation.. 
oh well this weekend or the next Im goin to get a 55 from a friend ready to go for 100 dollars yippie! lol, I gave my mom the angles already and my pops took the oscars to work in the 55 he has, now Im gettin this 55 for the Gourami and tigers, then the 29 im thinkin Ill get a few chiclids.....(spelling?) lol I need more schooling
