sump/equipment area/refuge one area

Can my sump be a refuge and a equipment area and have the return pump in one area without dividing it?

no u would have to divide it...otherwise ur gona have sand being sucked up.

totally agree here, could not be done with sectioning off the certain areas...its easily done with plexi-glass and some weldon...

Any suggestinos of how to divide it for intake, refuge, and return? The sump dimensions are 20"tall,30"long,12"depth.
