True percula vs. false percula

I could be totally wrong right now (I have been drinking :)) but I think a true perc is wild caught and a false might be tank raised.

Also, since the true perc is wild caught, chances of it hosting in an anemone or something is better.

But, again, I could have some facts wrong there.

Sounds good though, right?
not true really oscularis clowns are usually called false clowns.

price is defenitly a differnce:rolleyes: but isnt true that you cant mix false with true?

Really? I though since they are diffrent species that you could not mix clowns together. Tomato w/ clarkii, two band w/ saddle, true percs w/ false percs?? SO as long as they are young it wouldnt matter? is that JUST with T or F's or with ALL clowns?

G-man I think you are getting the wrong Idea of what Im asking. Im not asking if the true or false percs. can MATE toghether, But Rather, If they can be KEPT together. IE you CANT keep two angels together in the SAME TANK.

Answer to your question, yes, they can be kept in the same tank, although true percs are not usually classed as hardy as false....

the main display only marine tank at the local fish stands testament that. a pair of false and a pair of true's are kept in there. Reasoning behind that is so people who are interested in marine fish can see the differences between two types of clown..rather than people going away and "googling" for infomation...

This is just my opinion based on experience
