No clue on the prob.(maybe air pockets??) But I will say your tank looks good. Also Its no wonder your MH and lighting set up cost you $450 its a smaller tank then mine.

no..if so everything would have been affected and the fish and other corals were fine....plus ive had the aquarium stocked this way for a long time...also corals dont get stressed for the amount of fish but rather the waste form to many..as u can see the water parameters were perfect.
same corals for years...havent got any closer at all...im just marking it as forgen poison
one note...sorry if i seemed to shoot down all the ideas...i may not be an expert on all things but i am on my reef and lost well over 2 nights of sleep thinking over all og what could have gone wrong...so thats why...im very anal about the tanks care and thats why i ruled out those things...i am in no way rejecting ideas and if someone was offended im apologize.....moving on though the feather star didnt make it but the rest seem to be recovering.
that might be just it...would nitrates be hight though...i cant remember that one...ive been noticing not the bast flow in my tank...thats why i have just ordered two of the hydor coralla fan pumps. thx joe...might have nailed it
