I might have an Ick outbreak, not sure yet, still monitoring a couple of fish closely to see... My question is that if I start the heat and salt treatment, should I remove my Snail before I do...?

THanks

Yes it would be a good idea to remove the snail .
BUT ! I do my tank with the snails in because I have a over population
and it dose NOT kill my snails <> But if you have A prize snail remove it
its not nice to salt them . :)

Ok then my next question would be, can a snail transmit Ick? Like if I want to put the snail in one of my other thanks while I do the treatment....?

I am not 100% but 90% sher yes .
Ick is a nasty little bug -so to speak- it moves and sticks to things
I once had a eel with Ick I put it into a 5 gal pail with two fists full of
salt for about 5 minuts and wala no Ick . Then I went on to treat my tank .
If the fish have a bad case I would do the same bucket treatment then add
some to tank as well .
