White could minnows + goldfish + dojo loaches

i have fancy goldfish. the tank's dimensions are weird -- 8.5'*1.25' you can check out the pic in my sig.

the temperature in the tank is 72*, is that fine? how long and wide should the pvc tubes be?

is it possible that the goldies might eat the minnows?

could i buy 5 loaches?

3 inch upwards (height) and the width should be around 3 inches too. They should be at least a foot or two long. I *think* 72 for a temp is fine. How big is the goldfish? It is a *possibility* that the goldie may eat the minnows, you could see what happens.

3 loaches would probably be better than five... four max.

What kind of goldfish are they? Commons, comets, and shubunkins would eat the minnows for sure, fancies might, but would probably be too slow to catch them.

Make sure your tank lid is flush to the top of the tank and the tank is not full to the brim. My Weather Loaches where the Houdinis of the fish world :dog::dog::dog:
