How long...

lol i agree not to be snoopy but thats one ive never heard. and why shouldnt you leave the cucumber in for more than 12 hours?

May be she works at a restraunt......:duh:

buy zuccini instead. Cucumber, while cheaper, has little nutritional value. I leave my zuccini in less than 24 hours. 12 would be safer, but 24 is fine. Higher temperatures mean less time in the tank (24 hours at 78, less at 82).

ok i see thanks, and i never thought of that weezer, good one

Yep.. n.p , ....:)

This has nothing to do with the answer (totally agree with what's been said), but I have to ask where you work, mee-mee. Cucumbers from work???

I am a server at Denny's so I have access to all the cukes the little critters can eat.....

So you do work in a restaurant! Now we all know :) Sorry if that was too nosy.

Good luck with the cukes!

That is okay Gali.....but sad to say there is more money in the server area than there is the vet tech field.....:( I would really love to go back to my professional field tho...Veterinary Technician....

I take the seeds out, they just clog up the filter intake. I agree zucchini is more nutritious but some fish like cuke better. Zucchini has less water & doesn't get mushy as fast.
